Here's my latest project - just started tonight & I'm already done with the outside piece! These are 2 inch strips, backed with fusible flece & topstitched with verigated thread. It is a fancy way of saying the thread is multicolored. I picket it up @ Jo-Anns today, along with the flower (1st in pic) & green skull (last in pic) fabric.
Here is a close up on the thread...I used the purple one.
And the topstitching...using the thread! I had white in the bobbin & it is peeking through so next time I won't be so lazy & match it up!
